After weeks off talking to customers and exploring what's currently available in the CSA market, we have developed what we think will be an affordable and convenient option for most people looking to explore the world of Community Supported Agriculture. Below I have listed the options for this years CSA subscriptions, and done my best to describe each option in terms more understandable than "1/2 bushel of produce".
If you are not familiar with our produce, we are a hydroponic farm that specializes in heirloom varieties. We choose species that may not be the most perfect looking vegetables, but are some of the best tasting available. While we are not a certified organic farm, we follow most of the guidelines including not using any pesticides. We are also going to expand the crops we are growing this year to accompany a longer season and more variety to our customers. While we have aimed to have our growing season provide a constant source of all the vegetables listed, there are a few that will vary with weather conditions and season. (i.e. Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts)
While I have tried to give all the answers I think you may have, I am sure there might be some things that you might have questions about and feel free to contact us with with any questions you have. As always, if you know anyone that would be interested in fresh vegetables and supporting local agriculture, please tell them about us.
